خلاصه مقاله:
In the present paper, a numerical solution is developed to estimate gas release rate fromaccidentally damaged pipelines and to predict thebehavior of gas in pipe after rupture which can be used for detecting the location of the rupture. The solution is based on one-dimensional MacCormack’s Technique. Results show that after accidental rupture some disturbances in pressure and other variables involving the problem will appear and propagatethrough the fluid. Finally release rate from damaged area is calculated by modeling the flow at leakage as a flow through a converging nozzle.
