Morphology, anatomy, chemistry and distribution of the species Rhizocarpon viridiatrum (Rhizocarpaceae, Lichenized Fungi) in NE Iran are presented based on observations from ۳۵۷ samples collected in Razavi Khorasan province during ۲۰۰۶-۲۰۰۷, an analysis of lichen substances and a literature survey.
