The synthesis of a new azo-azomethine ligand derived from 5-((2-bromophenyl)diazenyl)2-hydroxy benzaldehyde and its lead (II) complex is reported. The structure of these compounds were characterized by FT-IR, 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectroscopic techniques. Also, PbO nano particles have been prepared by calcination of the complex at 700 ºC for 3 hours and characterized by FT-IR, XRD and SEM.
