The buck and boost converters are used to transfer electrical energy from photovoltaic cells to consumers. For this purpose a controller system should be designed to transfer the maximum energy. In this paper the desired system is simulated by MATLAB/Simulink software and the best coefficients of PID controller are selected by using frog and genetic algorithms, then the results are compared with each other.
