خلاصه مقاله:
Strategy planning, as a method for structured programming about the future, gives an important tool for integrating scientific and stakeholder knowledge at different scales to explore alternative natural resource management and policy options. In fact, actual examples of such integration are rare. A strategy planning exercise was conducted in golestan Province in our dear country, Iran, which is an unique country nearly among the most of the other countries all over the world, because of having the sustained, not ruined, and to some extent safe places , to integrate knowledge among scientists, ecotourism experts, and ecotourism stakeholders to explore possible futures for ecotourism industry. Four strategies focused on climate change and technology, highlighting the risks and opportunities associated with rapid information exchange, and choices to advance alternative ecotourism activities despite climate change impacts upon natural assets. Although ecosystem-based management strategies were not investigated in detail by participants, all strategies recognized and identified important cross-scale partnerships required to achieve sustainable management of natural resources and to promote ecotourism. Finally, we should point out that An evaluation of changes in perceptions at the beginning and end of the strategy exercise suggests that participants became more aware of social and ecosystem processes occurring at broad spatial and temporal scales.
