خلاصه مقاله:
The objective of this attempt is to introduce supercritical fluid extraction(SFE) as an innovative method so as to extract phenolic compounds from plants with the highest antioxidant potential.The important role of antioxidants in human health has been demonstrated, thus the increasing the interest in such products and their demand by consumers. In spite of the fact that plenty of herbal extracts exhibit antioxidant properties, it is not a straightforward issue to obtain the products with the unique antioxidant capacity by using the available conventional methods such as solid-liquid extraction.SFE is a promising technology proved to obtain extracts with high quality by using CO2,so it could be more effective and efficient approach of extraction. Furthermore, the highest phenolic concentration and antioxidant activity are found in the SFE extracts. It is good to be mentioned which the presence of some co-solvents, specifically ethanol, in the operation could be affected the extraction yield in the better way.
