خلاصه مقاله:
Fe3O4 nanoparticles were immobilized on the surface of mesoporous silica (SBA-15) and the modifiedmesoporous silica Fe3O4/SBA-15 was characterized by XRD, VSM, FTIR, BET and SEM images. The activity ofFe3O4/SBA-15 for adsorption and photodegradation of methylene blue (MB) was investigated in a photocatalytic reactorunder visible LED, tungsten and high pressure mercury lamp irradiation. The obtained Fe3O4 results were comparablewith corresponded photodegradation of the dye solution in the presence of SBA-15 and Fe3O4 results. It was found thatthe Fe3O4/SBA-15 photocatalyst exhibited high stability and catalytic activity significantly.
