خلاصه مقاله:
In this paper Nonlinear and linear static and dynamic responses of beams integrated with piezoelectric sensors are studied. Finite element formulations are derived on the basis of the updated Lagrangian formulation (U.L.F) and the principle of virtual work. Four-node solid elements including two degrees of freedom in displacement and one electrical degree of freedom in each node are developed to analyze beams with piezoelectric sensors. To analyze the nonlinear equilibrium equations an incremental technique based on the Newton–Raphson method is employed .By coding with MATLAB the results of present work are obtained and compared with other results in order to verify the accuracy and convergence of the present formulation.
