خلاصه مقاله:
Effectiveness number of infill drilling wells on recovery factor and production plateau for an Iranian carbonate reservoir is determined for developing the field. The approach used is the numerical reservoir simulation by means of Eclipse simulator and real full field model. The field oil production was 4000 STBD of sweat oil at the moment. A desalting plant was designed with 25% water cut to produce salty oil to reach to target rate of 12000 STBD to cover refinery need. Different scenarios with different number of new drill wells was run to find the optimum well number to achieve optimum recovery factor and production plateau. Simulation runs show that the optimum wells number is 3 vertical wells with 19 percent of recovery factor sustained for 10 years.
