LW-VCSELs have a lot of advantages in comparewith edge emitting lasers. So, they are the key components inmany optical applications. However, they suffer from poormirror reflectivity. In fact, to obtain a high reflectivity(>0.99%), the DBR will be thick and include many layers. Thisobviously reduces the good performance of VCSELs. Use of oneor two dielectric DBRs is one of the good solutions offered. Inthis paper we want to compare several dielectric DBRs withseveral semiconductor DBRs
