In this research, to investigate the effect of precipitation hardening on the deep drawing behavior of 6061 Al-alloy, first, the thickness of a 6061 Al-alloy sheet was decreased from 5 mm to 1 mm by four passes rolling and then, punched to obtain circular specimens with diameter of 80 mm. The specimens were heated in 528°C for 60 min and then quenched in water and finally aged in 180°C and 210°C for 30, 120, 240, 360 and 480 min. After aging, they were quenched in water (25°C). Deep drawing process was applied on cold rolled specimen, solution-treated specimen and aged specimens. Micro-Vickers hardness was done on the cross section of the deep drawn specimens. The results showed that for the cold rolled specimen, hardness and punch force was highest, while the punch displacement in comparison with other samples was lowest. For the solutionized specimen the values of hardness and punch force were lowest, while the punch displacement was highest. For specimens aged at 180°C, with increasing the aging time the values of punch force, punch displacement and hardness in comparison with other samples continually decreased. In aging temperature of 210°C, the values of punch force, punch displacement and hardness increased up to aging time of 360 min and beyond that, decreased
