خلاصه مقاله:
This study investigated the role of emotional intelligence and it's components topredict English learning as a foreign language among L2 students of Islamic AzadUniversity. The statistical population involved all of the Islamic Azad University,Zabol Branch L2 students (N = 380) in 2015-16 academic year. From these, 191students are selected as sample via random sampling based on Kreschi- Morgantable. Research method was correlation. To collect the data, Bar-On EmotionalQuotient Inventory and academic mean score of student were used. Reliability ofthis instrument is calculated as a:0.93 using Cronbach's alpha in Iranian society.For data analysis, multiple regression in enter model were used. The resultsshowed that emotional intelligence and its dimensions predict students' academicachievement statistically significant( R2=.65, F(5.185) = 67.5, P< .01).
