In tissue engineering 3D bioprinters are used to pattern different cell types to construct a 3D living tissue.Different bio-inks are used to print cells. Some of them just have a supportive role in printing and after printing are removed and some of them mimic extracellular matrix (ECM) of cells. In this study, a 3D bioprinter (Royan 3D bioprinter) was designed and fabricated which support printing of three different materials including alginate that is an ionic crosslinkable material, pluronic F-127 as a sacrificial hydrogel and is thermo-responsive and also gelatin methacryloyl (GelMA) that could mimic the cell ECM and is a UV crosslinkable material. The printability of these hydrogels were tested in different concentrations and the best concentration was chosen for printing.
