خلاصه مقاله:
This study presents a new pressure gradient correlation for oil-water dispersed flow in horizontal pipes. The new modelwas derived from 225 experimental pressure gradient data points for variety range of Reynolds number (Rem =2300-1×105) and mixture velocities (Um=0.5-4 m/s). The accuracy of this new model has been evaluated against thehomogeneous model. The comparison indicates that the new proposed correlation predicts the pressure gradient withhigher accuracy than the homogeneous model.
