خلاصه مقاله:
Catalyst deactivation by coke deposition has a direct impact on the economic viability of heavy hydrocarbon upgrading processes, such as coal liquefaction and oil residue hydroprocessing. This paper describes an approach to monitor the cracking activity of commercial catalysts in hydrocracking related services. An empirical deactivation model for hydrocracking catalysts is established, and then model parameters are determined by the Curve fitting. The processed feed barrels per pound of catalyst (BPP) can be used to normalize time and weighted average bed temperature (WABT) was used to normalize the actual average reactor temperature. The resulting plot of standardized Average ReactorTemperature vs. Standardized Time rationalizes the equations of the model. The model predictions were compared with experimental data and there was a good agreement between them.
