خلاصه مقاله:
A novel 3D, highly porous, mechanically competent, bioactive and biodegradable scaffolds have been fabricated for the first time from crosscasting linked gelatin (GL) and bioactive glass (BG) nanopowder through layer solvent combined with freeze-drying and lamination techniques. Biodegradable polymers and bioactive materials are being combined in a variety of composite materials for tissue engineering scaffolds but this research has developed a new composition to produce a new bioactive nanocomposite which is porous with 3D inter- connected microstructure, pore sizes are 200-500 μm, porosity are 72%-86%. It is mentionable that in this study, we have reported formation of chemical bonds between BG nanoparticles and GL for the first time.Finally, the stress-strain behavior in compression was in the same range of natural spongy bone.
