خلاصه مقاله:
Among the classes of inorganic or non-carbon nanotubes, transition metal dichalcogenides with general formula MX2 (M=W, Mo, V, Nb, Ta, Zr X=S, Se) are significant materials and reveal interesting electronic and optical properties. Inorganic fullerene-like WS2 nanoparticles, exhibit excellent lubricating properties and show high scope as tips for scanning microscopes. Other proposed applications include nanocomposites, ultra strong tips for scanning probe microscopy, Li-batteries, car aerospace, semiconductors and electrochemical Hydrogen storage.
