خلاصه مقاله:
This paper presents the design of new fractal EBG structures for wideband and multiband microstripantennas. This structure which possesses multi band-gaps characteristics, act as a means to suppress thesurface waves effectively at various multiple frequencies. This structure utilizes concave patches andconvex patches to arrange alternately for multiband purpose. Also a spiral circular shape is used toenlarge the inductive effect, which can extremely reduce the period of the lattice. In this paper, its designis detailed, and several simulations by FEM and FDTD methods are presented. The results prove that thedesign is effective.
