خلاصه مقاله:
Cities (particularly in developing countries) dis-proportionally bear the impacts of 21st century challenges, such as improper infrastructure, climatic changes, social and economic inequality, and rapid growth of population. So, these growing number of issues introduce tremendous disaster risks. A smart city uses ICT to be more intelligent and efficient in using resources, save more cost and energy, and to improve service delivery and quality of life.Smart water management as an integrated part of smart city, has become an interesting field through the previous decade while governments, industries and utilities has been collecting and using real-time data in order to optimize their operations and knowledge. This paper has done an investigation on preservation of water resources and decreasing the water loss of the system by making the system smart. The following contents illustrate the limitless potentiality of smart water technologies.
