Hormozgan Medical Journal (HMJ) is affiliated to the research deputy of Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences. The first volume of the journal published in ۱۹۹۹ in Bandar Abbas city with eight articles per volume. Now, we publish Six volumes per year with more than ۱۰ articles in each volume. The language of the journal is English with an Persian abstract.The main scope of this journal is basic and clinical medical studies from Iranian and international authors. Editorial Boards of HMJ are specialists in all fields of basic and clinical medical sciences from all over the world. After receipt of each manuscript and an initial approval, it will be sending to three referees and the referees’ points will be sending to the author for correction. Then the revised manuscripts will be discussed in the editorial board of the journal for the final confirmation. The rejection rate of the articles is ۶۵ percent and the accepted articles should wait for at least ۶ week in queue for publication.
