Evaluation of the toxicity of formulation of several herbal essential oils in control of urban pest Siphoninus phillyreae and evaluation of natural predator resistance of Clitostethus arcuatus (Rossi)

Controlling urban pests in recent years is one of the biggest concerns of authorities in urban green lands management. Siphoninus phillyreae (Halliday) is one of the most serious pests for urban Trees Fraxinus excelsior in summer times and mostly the peredator which tend to kill them is lady bird Clitostethus arcuatus (Rossi) (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae). In this article due to examination on natural effects of the lethal dose of some pesticides which have been produced in Barige Essence in urban pest controlling of white winged and natural hunter lady bird in research urban green lands of Tehran’s ۱۷th district. After these surveys puppies of ۲nd and ۳rd stages of white winged were synchronized with lady birds and sprayed with different thickness of Agar ۵; After ۲۴ hours the casualty were like these results in puppies of white winged ۸۴۳ ppm and for mature lady bird was ۳۷۸ ppm and in the ۲nd experiment in laboratory revealed that the death of puppies of lady bird in ۳rd day was ۸۷.۳۲%, ۴۳.۱۲% and in ۷th day ۹۱.۱۵&, ۴۸.۱۲ percent. In comparison with Confidor poison with ۵۰۰۰۰ ppm in ۳ days were respective ۹۶.۹۵%, ۹۴.۹۱% and in ۷th day were ۱۰۰ percent. According to used dosage of ۵۰۰۰۰ ppm and considerable activities in laboratory and exam results owing to any deformity happened in leaves so this composition can be used in controlling spoken pests while using chemicals are not considered to be very flawless for city and these essence-toxics can be the best solution.
