In 2011, the Government has approved to stipulate a minimum retirement age for the private sector to be in line with the public sector. This research aims to investigate the influence of personal and psychosocial determinants of employees’ preferences for late retirement. The information gained through this research is very precious especiallyto government and employers as government and employers can take proper actions and measures to deal with the problems incurred after understand the actual situation. A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed to the older workers in the private organizations all over Malaysia. In this research, convenience sampling will be used in thisresearch. The sample size in this research is 175 older workers in the private sector throughout Malaysia. The findings attested health, financial comfort, and intrinsic motivation had a significant influence on employees’ attitudes towards working beyond normal retirement age whereas organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and work commitment had no significant impact on employees’ attitudes towards working beyond normal retirement age
