چکیده مقاله:

Based on the resource based view (RBV) and theory of planned behavior (TPB), this study makes effort to understand the role of intangible resources at micro level particularly in explaining intention for agropreneurship. This research work aims to analyze the impact of intangible resources on psychological mechanism and agropreneurial intention among youth. Data from 365 Malaysian youth provide evidence that human and network resources play a significant role in creating awareness and desirability for agropreneurship as well as in developing greater sense of agropreneurship security among this segment. The findings also confirm the significant influence of attitude towardagropreneurship and perceived behavior control on the formation of intention for agropreneurship. An understanding of these issues offers opportunities to the government and policy makers especially educators to design programs to assist youth in embarking on agropreneurship business venture.
