An Investigation and Analysis of the Causes of Unemployment among Graduates of the Field of Art Using a Multi-criteria Decision-making (SAW) Technique (Case study: Bandar Abbas city)

The training of job seekers and the transfer of expertise and skills to the workforce and thus influencing their productivity provide conditions for further recruitment of the workforce, and labor productivity, as an effective factor in unemployment, plays an important role in the micro political and economic decision-makings. We seek in this research to investigate and analyze the causes of unemployment among the graduates of the field of art using a multi-criteria decision-making technique. To achieve this, after determining the causes of unemployment among the graduates of the field of art, we designed a questionnaire to be distributed among the unemployed graduates in the field of art in Bandar Abbas city. Having analyzed the data and prioritized them using the SAW method, we determined the most important factors for the unemployment of the art graduates as follow: excessive admission of students by universities without having purposeful and clear programs , economic problems and fluctuations and excessive inflation, and inattention to entrepreneurship development and the entrepreneurial system .
