The pathological examination revealedmetastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix in the spleen. Conclusion:The spleen is considered unfavorable to the development of metastasis, but the reason for thisis not fully understood. The literature relevant to the report is also discussed. This reportreaffirms the notion that splenic metastases from cervical carcinoma are rare events but canoccur as part of widespread dissemination.
