Familial dyskeratotic comedones, a case report

Familial dyskeratotic comedones is a rare affection of autosomal transmission ,characterizedby pseudo-comedone papules predominantly on the limbs, trunk & face, with onset in childhood or adolescence.Lesions are usually asymptomatic except for occasional pruritus orinflammation. Reported only 9 case of this entity in the literature in 1987.We report a 25-year-old man having asymptomatic hyperkeratotic comedon-like lesions onhis penile shaft skin. Histopathologic features showing dilated keratin filled invaginations ofepidermis with some dyskeratotic cells.In review of literature, in all articles this lesion reported as a rare, autosomal dominantcondition.We report here a case with this rare disorder who had no familial history & differentanatomical distribution.
