Water resources scarce is one of fundamental factors playing important role in crop production management worldwide especially in Iran. A factorial experiment based on a completely randomized design with four replications was conducted during 2010 growing season at the research field of Faculty of Agriculture, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Khorasane-Razavi province. Experimental factors were the irrigation regimes and three potato cultivars Agria, Almera and Sinora. The results showed that pest larval abundance had significant inverse relationship with some potato correlates such as stem number, RWC, LAImax, and yield of potato cultivars. Data showed that under full drip irrigation regime on Agria and Sinora, the pest larval abundance was lower than Almera, which could be due to higher plant vigor potentially decreasing pest performance. Furthermore, under full irrigation regime, potatoes undergo less cutworm larvae during growth season compared to the irrigation regimes with 30% decrease in water volume.
