The aim of this study was to determine the effect of hypnosis therapy on reduction of behavioral disorders in children aged 8-12 years old. The pre-test and post-test experimental method was applied for the purpose of the research. Independent variable was hypnotherapy which was applied only in the experimental group and its effect on post test scores of the experimental group was compared to that of the control group. The statistical population of the study consisted of all bad guys from 8 to 12 years of service in Shahriyar city in 1397. According to the statistics of the welfare organization, 270 children were reported. For sampling, after sampling, 14 persons were selected and randomly categorized (drawn in randomized manner) in two experimental and control groups (each group was 7). Patients in the experimental group were hypnotized for 3 sessions, while the control group did not receive any intervention until the end of the post-test phase.The results showed that hypnotherapy reduced the behavioral disorders of 8-12 years oldpoor children in Shahriar. Hypnosis therapy helps children with behavioral disorders learn how to adapt to stressful stimuli. Therefore, their disagreements, disorientations and their incompatible behaviors are reduced or eliminated.Hypnosis therapy, by targeting the causes of disorder and obesity in children, is effective in reducing these problems. Children in the process of hypnosis therapy are able to replace maladaptive coping strategies with more adaptive ways and learn more positive coping skills through modeling and positive self-esteem, by various inducements, and verbal expression of emotion modeling to make them also learn various and useful skills in different cognitive, emotional and social fields in order to establish appropriate communication with others and solve problems in an effective way. During the sessions of the treatment, performing various activities in relation to other childrenare dealt with and mastered to practice these skills. Therefore, they will be able to generalize these skills to similar situations in real life. Through employing them, they can solve their emotional and social problems, and abnormal behaviors, which emerge due to the lack of these skills,are gradually diminished or eliminated. It is possible.
