Studying the water temperature effect on longevity rate of Mesobuthus eupeus (Scorpion) in Iran

The aim of this paper is to study longevity of Mesobuthus eupeus in water with different temperatures. Statistical population of this research is made by about 22 of these scorpions. The present study’s sampling method is as systematic sampling one from the domains of Yaqoub King’s promenade, with a height of 1639 meters, 54 latitudes and 22 longitudes, located in Naqadeh County in West Azerbaijan Province. This study is conducted in descriptive way. The study findings show that survival rate of scorpion in water is very different according to different temperatures. The results of this research suggest that scorpion survives more in water with the normal temperature than water with the hot one
