چکیده مقاله:

In this study, some parameters of growth of Spirlin were investigated in the Siyahrood River. Spirlin is one of the species of cyprinidae in Iran which is inhabited by stagnant and running waters, feeding on planktons and benthic organisms and has a small body that prefers shallow, high oxygen, and rocky beds of mountain streams to lives, and because of its low tolerance to pollution, it is a suitable bioassay for environmental quality assessment. Scales were used to determine the age of the fish. A total of 49 specimens were surveyed that caught fish were in four age groups of 0+, 1+, 2+ and 3+ years old with the longitudinal range of 43-127.7 mm. In this study, 21 fishes were 0+, 22 fishes 1+, 5 fishes 2+ and one fish 3+, the females were larger than males. The largest male and female fish were 93.6 and 127.7 mm, respectively, and the smallest were 42.5 and 58.6 mm, respectively. One-yearold fishes with a relative abundance of 44% of the most prevalent age group and three-years-old fish with the lowest frequency of 2% had the lowest abundance of fish. The exponential relationship between length and weight in both sexes indicated positive allometric growth.
