چکیده مقاله:

Embryonic stem cell research is ethically defensible on the condition that it is conducted in controlled forms and under public scrutiny, including legally regulated ethical examination of each individual project by a committee of research ethics. It is permissible , however only if there are n scientifically well-found and ethically acceptable alternative for attaining the same goals of knowledge and if there is careful information to, and free informed consent from, both the woman and the man. In these circumstance, it is acceptable to use fertilized eggs which are left after test- tube fertilization and which have been donated explicitly for this purpose . it is not justified to create embryos, through test – tube fertilization, solely for research purposes. Stem cell research must be subject to continued evaluation and ethical discussion , in pace with the growth of knowledge and the development of new a cells by division, or to more specialized daughter cells. It must not be subject to unethical commercialization.
