چکیده مقاله:

The adsorption capacity was examined of two different types of natural adsorbents, perlite is a glassy volcanic rock of rhyolitic composition, usually contains between 2 % and 6%water,and natural zeolite which is widely used due to its abundance and low cost for the environment remediation and restoration. The Result showed that the amount ofsorption capacity was obtained 3.5and 2.21 g/g for expanded perlite and natural zeolite ,respectively. These results obtained by putting 10g crude oil on a sea water ,100mL of Persian gulf sea water at 25˚c with 1g weight of the adsorbents for 10,15 min for each, respectively. The characteristics of the expanded perlite and natural zeolite were investigated by X-Ray fluorescence and BET analyses.
