چکیده مقاله:

With the issuing of new European norms regarding energy requirements and system efficiencies of buildings, significant opportunities have been opened for the implementation of HVAC appliances. The terms chiller & heat pump in today’s common HVAC contracting business are generally used for an electrically driven compressor devices. In spite of this common conviction, in this paper new trends and practical experiences are presented with new Gas Fired Ammonia Water Absorption Technology. The objective of Energy saving is common to all the countries of the orld with the aim of preserving the insufficient energetic resources. These new technologies fit perfectly for climate conditions such as in IRAN, for the capability to operate at high ambient air temperatures and elevated humidity conditions. An analysis of the spread of climatic conditions of the country support the soundness of this technology compared to traditional approaches. Of particular interest is the possibility of employing as absorption technology for peak shaving during the summer period when electricity availability is in short supply. Real applications case stories are illustrated where Water-Water and Air-Water gas fired chillers & heat pumps are employed and a comparison with traditional devices is presented. Energy and environmental issues are the key concepts of this paper. Breakthrough news is the gas fired water-ammonia absorption, air cooled, heat pump with an internal reversing valve. This paper has been jointly developed by IFCO and Robur S.p.A.
