چکیده مقاله:

One of the problems that threaten dams overflow buildings, cavitation is.Experience has shown that rapid flows over spillways, when the velocity of water increases the risk of cavitation is high.Today, access to programs and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and equipped computers, the increasing use of numerical analysis of the flow. The software provider in the field of CFD, FLOW-3D software is capable of analyzing two andthree-dimensional flow field is required. In the present study, we have tried using FLOW-3D software simulation of cavitation on the dam spillway Tngvyyh. The results were compared with the results of hydraulic model of the dam that are a good match. At least cavitation index numerical model at the end of the rapids and flows 510 and 1250 cubic meters per second have been achieved. At least cavitation index numerical model at the end of the rapids and flows 510 and 1250 cubic meters per second achieved similar levels of accuracy in comparison with the critical points in laboratory models. They are.In general in all discharges and most of the sections provided on the spillway dam Tngvyyh, cavitation index of the numerical model, higher and larger than the experimental model presentsAnd finally, the results of both models (experimental and numerical model now) the possibility of the occurrence of cavitation in the dam spillway Tnguyyh reject them
