چکیده مقاله:
Nowadays because of immense increase of social demands for further services in accessible mobility ,also with the advent of centralization majority of developed cities have been experienced steady multiplication of dailycommuting for more job opportunities .Accordingly nowadays various type of transportation means and the life ofendlessly being connected to job opportunism leads to increase of physical mobility attainable with the emergenceinnovative transportation Technology ,has not only create new sociality but also initiated to demand space express such a social relationship.(Jung[1]) The space that are directly related with moving and travelling for instance train stations, terminal roads or subway stations also a modern social space where the passengers exchange between vehiclesor transportation modes ,hence this will minimize the fare rates need to be paid by passengers .Moreover these kinds of transportation hubs can be considered as the modern public spaces providing social welfare as well as intermodal transportation where could be considered as inception of Transit Oriented Development (TOD) is frequently cited as a planning strategy which facilitates sustainable transitions on urban and regional levels. This project has been aimed to achieve a Suitability Assessment of Abbasabad territory for Tehran city CBD rail-based TOD locus with the approach of complex design providing urban social welfare in the Tehran metropolis .finally this paper has been aimed an investigation of the gaps between TOD design and the users’ demands . And introducing essential criteria to have better TOD centers.
