چکیده مقاله:

One of governmental policies on agriculture sector is research. Research as a suitable stratesic procedure plays vole on increasing agricultural production and supply. Saffron is one of the most important products that is cultivated and produced in provinces of Khorasan-Razavi and Southern Khorasan, and as this crop has an important role in income and occupation of the regions and also saffron is considered an export product so has a considerable vole in economic and social situation of these regions. In this regard, the present research aims to evaluate economic and social effects of saffron research from view of saffron farmers in main lands of saffron cultivation. In this research necessary information data and statistics were collected from questionnaire, that included complete information of technical, financial, economical and social characters of utilizers after conducting research projects. Questionnaires were filled based on stratified random sampling in provinces of Khorasan – Razavi and Southern Khorasan that are centers of saffron production in Iran distributed in 2018. Each class represents one city of Khorasan-Razavi and Southern Khorasan. Results showed that evaluation of saffron farmers in conducting research and transfer of its findings is moderately down ward. Evaluation of research from view of saffron farmers were done among different classes of age, education and land ownership (large and small owners) by using one way variance analysis method that results showed that view of saffron farmers with different classes of age and education were statistically significant but view of saffron farmers were not significant in land ownership. Correlation procedure among saffron farmers evaluation from research results and its transfer to farmers with economic-social character shows that there is a significant and positive relation among evaluation of saffron farmers in research results and yield increase and there is a non-significant and positive relation among evaluation of saffron farmers from research results of occupation and immigration.
