GPU IMPLEMENTATION OF WENO SCHEMES FOR MULTIDIMENTIONAL EULER EQUATIONS

In this paper we further study the implementation of WENO schemes on GraphicProcessor Units (GPU). The GPU implementations of the schemes are described for multidimensionalEuler equations of gas dynamics. Both the CPU and GPU versions of all thesolvers are developed. The computational time of each test case using different schemes isobtained and the speedups are reported for different number of grid points. The numericalexperiments show the speedups for the WENO schemes are very promising.
