چکیده مقاله:

This paper presents a novel, rapid, and simple method for the determination of bisphenol A. Thesurface of a piezoelectric crystal was modified with 3-(methacryloxy) propyltrimethoxysilane. Then, abisphenol A -imprinted polymer was grafted on the glass plate by copolymerization of the vinyl end groupswith a functional monomer and a cross-linking agent. This molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) wassynthesized using methacrylic acid (the functional monomer), ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (the crosslinker),2,2′-azobisisobutyronitrile (the initiator), and methanol (the porogenic solvent). The synthesizedpolymers were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and scanning electronmicroscopy. In the subsequent step, the determination of bisphenol A was conducted using the synthesizedsensor in optimized conditions. The synthesized grafted senor was able to absorb bisphenol A selectively inthe presence of other interferinces, showing that the proposed method enabled the rapid determination ofbisphenol A. The obtained results showed significant potential for the rapid determination of bisphenol A.
