Review on Chain of Polypropylene Production Process fromMethanol

Polypropylene is currently one of the fastest growing polymers. There are various commercial technologies used to manufacture polypropylene. Each technology produces unique combinations of polymer characteristics. Polypropylene is as propylene derivative. The methanol-to-propylene (MTP) process is a route of methanol conversion to hydrocarbons, which is in high demand because of limitedoil resources. This review describes, technologies chain including conversion of methanol to propylene and propylene to polypropylene mainly based on the information published in literature with a worldscale.
