Position and Size detection of abnormal tumors on breast using Digital Mammogram Images

Nowadays Mammography is one of the methods for early detection of tumors or abnormalities in breast that most of them are about breast cancer. The most common abnormalities that maybe indicate cancers are Calcifications. These tumors are one of the common reasons of death in women specially. In mammography images tumors are like clusters and sometimes they are not easy to detect. But nowadays Digital Mammography is one of the best technologies in breast cancer detection. Actually we use Digital Mammography Imaging in advanced levels of breast cancer detection. This paper presents a method as a supporting tool that is easy to use and uses less time to detect abnormalities in breast using Digital Mammography Imaging. Detection is done in three steps. This method finds tumor type, orientation of masses, shape and size of masses and position of them in less time using Mammograms.
