چکیده مقاله:

In this paper, iranian Na-bentonite was modified with the first generation of an amidoamine cascade, named 3, 3'-(dodecylazanediyl) bis(N-(2-(2,3,3'(dodecylazanediyl)bis(N-(2-(2-aminoethylamino)ethyl)propanamide)(DAEP) (MB). The new nanocatalysis were prepared by immobilization of Co+2, Mn+2and Pd+2 on MB. The solid catalysts characterized by FT-IR, scanning electron microscopy, BET surface area, XRD, XRF and UV-vis spectroscopic techniques. Solvent free oxidation of ethylbenzene using t-butylhydroperoxide (TBHP) as an oxidant showed all of the three catalysts have very high conversion and selectivity. Acetophenone was the major product and the other products were found to be benzaldehyde and benzoicacid.Reaction conditions were optimized for oxidation by varying temperature, amount of catalysis, time and relation between catalyst and oxidant. 97.22%, 35.8%, 82.1% conversion of ethylbenzene with 99%, 89.4%, 97.2% selectivity for acetophenone obtained at 80C in the presenceof Co+2Mn+2and Pd+2 respectively. The reaction did not proceed in the absence of catalysis
