Improvement Fuzzy Russell’s Method for Solving Fuzzy Transportation Problem (FTP)

Transportation problem is a very important area in operations research and management science . The available data of a transportation system such as transportation costs , resources,demand are not always crisp or precise but are uncertain . So in this study some transportation problems have been formulated and solved in different uncertain environment ,e.g. , fuzzy .In this dissertation a new approach titled Improvement Fuzzy Russell’s Method has been developed for solving Fuzzy Transportation Problem (FTP) when all the cost coefficient are fuzzy numbers and all demands and supplies are crisp numbers to obtain the Initial Fuzzy Basic Feasible Solution (IFBFS) .To examine the proposed method a numerical example is solved .
