چکیده مقاله:

The nonlinear vibration of composite beams subjected to combined in-plane and lateralloadings has been studied in this paper. The composite laminates have been modeled using partiallayerwise theory (LWT) based on first order shear deformation theory (FSDT). The nonlinear differential governing equations of the composite beam have been derived using Hamilton’sprinciple. The partial discretization based on Galerkin method has been used to obtain theordinary differential equations (ODE) and the obtained ODEs have been solved numerically using Euler-Gauss step by step algorithm. In this study the effect of different lay-up sequences andloading parameters on the vibration of composite beams have been investigated. The results of present method have been compared with those obtained by using finite element method (FEM)and they are in good agreement. Beside this, the number of used degrees of freedom in this method is remarkably less than the FEM which leads to significant run-time reduction.
