چکیده مقاله:

Electrophoretic deposition (EPD) is a technique in which an electric field is applied to a stable colloidal suspension to make the charged particles move through the liquid media and deposit on an oppositely charged conductive substrate in the set-up. This method is used to fabricate a large variety of structures from traditional to advanced materials. Recently, graphene-based materials and graphene related materials have been successfully produced by this method, indicating various excellent properties. The graphene-based structures fabricated by EPD include graphene films, graphene/non-metal composites, graphene/metal-based nanoparticles composites, and graphene/polymer composites. Although the EPD is a simple technique, it has a bright future in the fabrication of graphene-based materials and its related advanced nanocomposites. In this conference paper, recent research works employing EPD to fabricate graphene nanocomposites are discussed and some of the major experiments for the graphene-based nanocomposite deposition and their features are summarized.
