Evaluation of seismic behavior of concrete tanks isolated air

Air tanks of water as one of the most important structures of urban water suppliers due to their vulnerability and the need to maintain the ability to exploit the earthquake after earthquake is necessary. Therefore, it is necessary to perform the required modeling the behavior of these structures during earthquakes, the advantages and disadvantages of using dampers in support of the review. This is done using the ABAQUS software. In this paper are presented under three water tanks acceleration Peaks, Northridge and Chi Chi is located. The damper is deployed in three different positions in the structure. The modeling results conducted for filling the tank with different percentage is provided
