Integrated nutrient management strategies involving chemical and biologic fertilizer is a real challenge to stop using the high rates of agrochemicals and to enhance sustainability of crop production, thus, in order to investigate the effect of biologic and chemical nitrogen fertilizers on yield and yield components of corn 704, an experiment was conducted under field condition using randomized complete block design with three replications in cropping year of 2014. Experimental treatments were 100% chemical fertilizer (N) , biofertilizer(Azospirillum/Azotobacter), Integrated of biofertilizer + 50% chemical fertilizer and control. The Results showed that the effect of different treatments of fertilizers on the number of grains per row, 1000-grains weight, plant height, hectoliter weight and grain yield were significant. The greatest grain yield (9407.3 kg ha-1) and 1000-grains weight (287.63 g) belonged to F2 treatment. Maximum number of grains per row (40.77) and plant height (201.10 cm) were obtained with the F4 treatment. Also The highest hectoliter weight (0.80 g cm-3) belong to F4 and F2 treatments. Results revealed that biofertilizer improved plant productivity and quality in corn seed.
