Review of historical trends – concept and explain approach in Islamic City

Cities are formed in different bases of time and place.According to this, one way to explain the nature of Islamic city,is assessment of historical alteration of cities during time and among ideas.this article tries to probe concept of city in pass of time and place in thoughts of thinkers of the world and iran before and after islam and consequently presentation of Islamic city definition.Considering the problem,this research is focused on theorical and qualitive topics.this research is based on three main axis.research procedure is characteristic- analyctical.so,datas are collectedat first,then are analised after describing theorical and practical studies.method of data collecting is documental and all datas are obtained by theorical studies .to present the problem and strengthen theorical topics of the assay and finally lead to a more reasonable conclusion.
