چکیده مقاله:

Paying attention to the climatic conditions and designing based on it, as well as thecompliance with existing climatic conditions has an important role in saving energy consumption. The present study aims to investigate and determine the favorable conditions based on the climate of Tabriz city. It also aims to provide solutions to designe climate compatible architectural designsfor more coordination of building with its surroundingsinorder to obtain maximum use of the environmental potentials, natural energy savings and enhancing the quality of comfortable living in Tabriz based on Mahoney indexbased on 60 years old climatic statistics(1951-2010) synoptic weather station of Tabriz.A comparative descriptive analysis based on library studies and available books and documents were used in this regard.At the end the obtained results were used to provide solutions for climatic architecture to create favorable conditions in order to deal with cold weather of Tabriz based on Mahoney.
