چکیده مقاله:

In addition to the human protection against bad climate conditions, the house, as one of the most primary and basic needs of human plays an important role in providing his peace and security. The family comfort and providing the possibility of appropriate communication together and even with the other relatives requires a hierarchy of solitude at home. On the other hands, nowadays, with the increasing population and the enhanced need to shelter, the density in the residential context has raised. The increased height in these residential complexes decreased the level of social interactions and, in many cases, the residents of these complexes have not any social interactions to each other. Furthermore, creating a balance between the solitude and social interaction, which will be possible by physical elements and in the individual and social context of any society based on its cultural values, is necessary. Addressing the concepts of social interactions and solitude and reviewing the various definitions and some theories in the area, this article first concerns these cocepts in various areas to explore the subject importance and then focuses on it in designing all residential complexes spaces. Arter that it investigates the privacy and physical distances in social interactions, then position it in the architecture of the home, and finally based on the related definitions and instances, suggests that Iranian house architect designers try to establish a dynamic interaction between the need for social interaction and solitude in the design to organize home spaces.
