Co-behaving of city and humans in historical events in the way of human’s sublimation and sustainability of city, case study Kashan

Kashan as one of the oldest human’s habitation has been face with several challenges. This city has kept its structure and dignity with peace and sometimes with conflict. These stories have resulted in co-living of city and people in a habitat based on their culture. This has made Kashan to become a city with accord of environment and human, a community life that not only copes with each other but according to sublimation in various aspects. In addition, Kashan is part of a bigger social system, Iran, which has coped and accompanied with its environmental area in order to sustain its existence. What have made Kashan sustainable are its human interact with history. In this paper we have examined Kashan in different periods using historical and descriptive method. We have examined the effect of these periods on the city and the way the city has coped with it (in social, cultural and environmental aspects). Our purpose is to identify the historical elements that have resulted in climatic, cultural and social sustainability of Kashan.
